A new paradigm in the packaging industry comes to life at CPS Company: the Mosaic line places the concept of modularity at the centre, offering unprecedented flexibility and dynamism.
MODULARITY AND FUNCTIONALITY: THE MOSAIC LINE
CPS Company, a leading company in the development of new technologies and industrial solutions for the packaging of tissue products, has always been synonymous with research, development and innovation. And the latest news from the company confirms it.
This is the Mosaic line which puts the concept of modularity at the centre of the production philosophy.
The concept does not involve just one phase of the process but the entire production chain, from the initial design to the final production phase.
Starting from 2024, this new approach will be extended to all CPS Company machines, starting from the packaging machines for folded products and then also applied to other types of packaging machines.
Each machine will be structured using separate modules, made up of independent and autonomous parts, which will be custom-assembled from time to time in a dedicated frame, allowing easier assembly and disassembly and making the machines incredibly versatile and easily adaptable to the specific needs of the clients.
Primarily the transformation will affect the 800 line of CPS Company and the 370-440 of Nema Automazione which will be replaced with the Zenit and Nadir machines; subsequently two new versions of the devices will be added with Chimera and Quantum.
The basis of this change is a fluid and dynamic use of the machines, which will allow the transition from one mode to another, without particular efforts.For example, it will be possible to convert the primary packaging of handkerchiefs in a plastic case to one in cardboard, or the packaging of napkins with other interleaved products of different sizes, with a simple replacement of the modules.
MOSAIC LINE: PERFORMANCES ARE ALSO ADJUSTABLE
A key element of the new Mosaic line is the possibility of updating the performance of the machines without having to replace the entire apparatus: by modulating the various components, it will be possible to replace the production “heart” and adopt another at greater speed, keeping the power supply and the exit.
This approach will allow customers to start with a basic model, gradually implementing the modules if there is a desire or need to increase performance.
This will not have significant impacts on the final cost, on the contrary it will present multiple tangible advantages, including:
- ease of revamping, updating and upgrading of the machines;
- greater flexibility in use and reconversion of machines;
- greater durability over time, since to switch from one type of product to another, a module will be replaced and not the entire machine;
- greater ease of maintenance and repair;
- better use of machines throughout their life cycle
- reduction in TCO (Total cost of ownership).
With the introduction of the new Mosaic line, CPS Company redefines the standards of the packaging industry: not only will the performance of the individual machines improve, but the entire production process will be affected by a revolution that will allow customers to have advantages without precedents in terms of versatility, flexibility and economic convenience.
MOSAIC: NEW LOGO FOR A NEW CONCEPT
The concept of modularity is well expressed by the logo designed specifically for the new line: a mosaic of small squares in the company colors that reflect its essence.
This logo represents the versatility of CPS Company machines and at the same time embodies the tangible innovation that modularity offers to the industrial sector.
Like a mosaic that joins different pieces to create a unique work of art, so CPS Company combines separate modules to create customized and highly efficient machines, giving rise to a new way of producing.
